Beware of Assumptions that Trap You into Unwise Actions

Walking into the YMCA, I complimented another black woman on her hair and whined about the troubles with mine.

I commented to a white patron: “Thank God you don’t have these problems.”

She sighed “Believe me, my hair is just as much trouble as yours .”
